What would you highlight about Canal View B&B Amsterdam

It was a cost apartment with a wonderful view that was close to everything.

The property was in a great location with lots of shops, cafes, coffee shops and restaurants nearby. We loved sitting at our large living room window looking down at a canal and bridge as the city woke up..the people watching was excellent. Even though the apartment was close to the hustle and bustle of the city it was quiet.

The very steep narrow stairs were a challenge but our host carried our heavy luggage up to our 2nd floor apartment. It was prohibited to use the gas cooker due to government regulations so we couldn’t cook in the apartment. The bathroom was tiny but I believe that is typical of buildings here.

Lovely apartment with everything you need for a great stay

Location was excellent, facilities were great and the views were amazing too.

Our check in wasn’t good. We had to wait about an hour for someone to greet us, but when Chris did he was very polite happy and nice. Water pressure wasn’t fantastic but acceptable.

This is a perfect 1 bedroom apartment for either a short trip or longer stay.

This 1 bed apartment has all the facilities you will require for your stay with lovely views over one of the many canals. The host was extremely friendly offering numerous ideas for thigs to do in the city. We would definitely stay here again.

The B&B was clean and comfortable, location was outstanding: close to the tram, good restaurants and Van Stapele coo

The flat was spacious, bed was comfortable. And as advertised, there was no elevator and the stairs were as expected. Our host graciously took care of our luggage both at check in and checkout (at 6 am in the morning). He also arranged for the taxi to take us to the airport and waited with us to make sure we got into the right one.

There was nothing to not like. Everything was as we expected - all part of the experience in another country.

Great location and views over the canal

The stairs up to the room were very steep and there was building work at the next door property which I know was not the fault of the owner The shower was not great - clean but not powerful

Very comfortable apartment in wonderful location. Highly recommended.

This was essentially a spacious apartment in a traditional Amsterdam house in a wonderful location overlooking a canal. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and food shops nearby and within walking distance of all the major attractions.

Called a B and B but no breakfast available so misleading. No wardrobe or area to hang clothes. Full kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher but no microwave and unable to use gas cooker.

Charming 1 bed apartment in the heart of the canal district

View of canal. Furnished like an authentic apartment not a generic hotel Top location surrounded by night life yet quiet to sleep at back. Separate sleeping room to living area plus kitchen facility made it great for a few days or longer

It was not their fault Amsterdam had a heat wave but west facing windows and no aircon was pretty intense for two days. I still can’t mark it down because we loved the apartment. be prepared for two flights of ladder like stairs and tiny bedroom to have all the facilities you need and able to walk to everywhere.

Amazing, we will definitely be back!

Everything! Chris was so lovely and helped us with everything we needed including giving us recommendations and taking our suitcases up and down the stairs. Bed was comfortable and was a spacious apartment

There was no air conditioning although the fan helped in the bedroom overnight. The stairs were steep although as mentioned Chris did help us take our suitcases up and down when needed.

Beautiful place and very conveniently located.

The host was friendly, the place was beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures. The apartment is also conveniently located, right in the city! There's a tram stop nearby that can bring you to and from the train station.

The stairs gave us a workout. Our luggages were big and that was a mistake on our side. We were very thankful that the host helped with our luggages.
